Custom Canine Unlimited is pleased to announce and welcome their newest K9 Trainer, Dariel Pierson.
Gainesville, Georgia, May 17, 2021. Custom Canine Unlimited brings on a new K9 Trainer to the CCU family, Dariel Pierson.
Pierson is no stranger to the Veteran community, being a Veteran herself. Pierson was a part of the Navy, stationed in San Diego, and worked on avionics and helicopters. If that’s not impressive enough, Pierson also brings with her leagues of experience in the K9 industry. After she left the military, Pierson worked alongside a non-profit who provided service dogs to First Responders and Veterans with PTSD, TBI, and mobility issues. Pierson also recently relocated to Georgia from New Jersey, and while she was up north, she worked behavior modifications in fear aggression for dogs. Pierson worked with a lot of rescues to be able to rehabilitate dogs to help them be adopted out.
Pierson makes an impressive part of the K9 Training team here at Custom Canine Unlimited. She graduated from CCU’s Full Service Trainer’s Course and began training shortly thereafter. When asked, “Why CCU?”, Pierson tells us, “I just really like working with canines and I really like working with first responders and police departments. I love how family oriented Custom Canine Unlimited is, and that really drew me to wanting to move to the state of Georgia.” When asked about her passion with K9s, she says, “I just like watching K9s go from not being able to do anything, to go to doing things such as, tracking and detecting odors. Seeing the bond that grows between the K9 and the Handler is really cool for me to see.”
Thank you for dedicating your time and your passion to Custom Canine Unlimited Pierson! We look forward to seeing what the future holds for you here at CCU!
