Bring Home a Cleaner, Happier Dog

Nothing feels better than picking up your dog after a professional grooming appointment. A clean coat, trimmed nails, fresh ears, and reduced shedding don’t just improve appearance—they improve comfort and quality of life.

Many dog owners struggle with:

  • Excessive shedding around the home
  • Strong dog odors
  • Dirty ears
  • Overgrown nails
  • Tangled or matted coats
  • Difficulty maintaining regular grooming

Our Full Groom Service is designed to help solve these common issues while giving your dog individual attention from experienced canine professionals.

What’s Included in Our Full Dog Grooming Service?

Our Full Dog Grooming Service is designed to provide more than just a basic wash. Each appointment focuses on your dog’s cleanliness, comfort, and overall well-being while helping maintain a healthier coat, skin, ears, and paws.

Every grooming appointment begins with a thorough cleansing bath using high-quality, dog-safe grooming products selected to help remove dirt, debris, excess oils, and odors from your dog’s coat. Dogs naturally pick up dust, allergens, and environmental contaminants during daily activities, which can build up over time and affect coat condition.

After bathing, your dog’s coat is carefully dried to remove excess moisture and help achieve a clean, polished appearance. Proper drying is an important step in the grooming process, as moisture trapped within the coat can lead to discomfort, unpleasant odors, and tangled fur.

Brushing is one of the most important parts of maintaining a healthy coat. During your dog’s grooming appointment, we thoroughly brush the coat to remove loose hair, dirt, and minor tangles that can accumulate over time. Regular brushing not only improves appearance but also promotes healthier skin by helping distribute natural oils throughout the coat.

Overgrown nails can affect the way a dog walks, stands, and moves throughout the day. Long nails may place unnecessary pressure on the paws and joints, leading to discomfort during normal activities. Our professional nail trimming service helps maintain an appropriate nail length to support better mobility and overall comfort.

Your dog’s ears can collect dirt, debris, wax, and moisture over time, especially if they spend time outdoors or have floppy ears that restrict airflow. As part of our Full Groom Service, we gently clean the ears to help remove buildup and promote better ear hygiene.

Every dog deserves individualized attention during grooming, which is why our team approaches each appointment with patience, professionalism, and an understanding of canine behavior. Dogs can experience stress or anxiety in unfamiliar environments, and proper handling plays a major role in creating a positive grooming experience.

At Custom Canine Unlimited, your dog is cared for by experienced canine professionals who prioritize safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the entire appointment. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, large, small, or somewhere in between, we work to create a calm and controlled environment where they can receive the care they need with confidence.

Please note: If your K9 is matted, there will be an extra fee for the matts to be removed. This fee may range from $10-$35 depending on the severity of the matts. This will need to be paid prior to picking up your K9 via invoice. Additionally, double-coated or thick coated dogs may require more than one hour to be dried properly. Our Kennel Technicians will assess your canine’s coat upon drop-off and let you know if there will be more time required.

Why Regular Grooming Matters

Regular grooming helps keep your dog clean, comfortable, and looking their best while supporting overall health and hygiene. Beyond improving appearance, routine grooming can reduce shedding, minimize odors, and help maintain healthy skin, ears, and paws. Consistent grooming appointments also make it easier to manage your dog’s coat and prevent minor issues from becoming bigger problems over time.

Your dog’s skin and coat are constantly exposed to environmental elements such as dirt, dust, pollen, mud, and other debris. Over time, these contaminants can build up and affect the overall condition of the coat, leading to dullness, odor, and discomfort.

Professional grooming helps remove these unwanted materials while supporting healthier skin and coat maintenance. Regular bathing and brushing help distribute natural oils throughout the coat, which can contribute to a cleaner, shinier, and more manageable appearance. Grooming also helps identify areas of irritation, dry skin, or excessive buildup that may require additional attention.

A healthy coat not only looks better but also serves as an important protective barrier that supports your dog’s overall wellness.

Shedding is a normal part of a dog’s life, but excessive loose hair can quickly become frustrating for pet owners. Hair can accumulate on furniture, carpets, clothing, vehicle interiors, and nearly every surface in the home.

During professional grooming appointments, loose fur is removed through thorough bathing, drying, and brushing techniques that help reduce the amount of hair your dog sheds after returning home. While grooming won’t completely eliminate shedding, regular appointments can significantly reduce the amount of loose fur circulating throughout your living space.

Many owners notice cleaner furniture, less vacuuming, and fewer pet hairs on clothing after establishing a consistent grooming schedule.

A clean dog is often a more comfortable dog. Long nails, dirty ears, tangled fur, and excessive coat buildup can all contribute to unnecessary discomfort during everyday activities.

Proper nail trimming helps maintain healthy paw function and allows dogs to walk more naturally without excessive pressure on their feet and joints. Ear cleaning helps remove buildup that can become irritating over time. Regular brushing helps prevent tangles and mats that may pull on the skin and cause discomfort during movement.

By addressing these areas on a routine basis, grooming helps support your dog’s comfort whether they’re playing, exercising, resting, or simply enjoying daily life with their family.

Ear care is an important but often overlooked part of a dog’s grooming routine. Dirt, moisture, wax, and debris can accumulate inside the ears, especially in breeds with floppy ears or active outdoor lifestyles.

Routine ear cleaning helps remove buildup and supports better overall hygiene. Clean ears can help reduce odors and keep your dog feeling more comfortable between appointments. Combined with bathing and coat care, ear maintenance contributes to a cleaner, healthier dog from head to tail.

Maintaining proper hygiene is especially important for dogs that spend time outdoors, visit dog parks, participate in activities, or interact regularly with family members and other pets.

Even healthy dogs naturally develop odors over time due to outdoor activities, exercise, moisture exposure, and normal skin oils. Unfortunately, these odors can transfer to furniture, bedding, carpets, and vehicles.

Professional grooming helps remove the dirt, oils, and debris that contribute to unwanted smells, leaving your dog feeling and smelling fresh. A clean coat not only improves your dog’s comfort but also makes close interactions more enjoyable for both pets and their owners.

Many clients appreciate that regular grooming helps their home feel cleaner while allowing their dog to stay fresh between appointments.

Another benefit of routine grooming is the opportunity to become more familiar with your dog’s overall condition. During the grooming process, areas of the skin, coat, ears, and paws receive closer attention than they might during daily interactions at home.

While groomers do not diagnose medical conditions, regular grooming may help identify unusual changes such as excessive matting, skin irritation, lumps, bumps, or other visible concerns that owners may wish to discuss with their veterinarian.

The earlier potential concerns are noticed, the sooner appropriate professional evaluation can occur.

Dogs thrive on routine, and consistent grooming appointments can help them become more comfortable with handling, brushing, nail care, and general maintenance. Dogs that are groomed regularly often experience less stress during future grooming sessions because the process becomes familiar and predictable.

Our team works patiently with dogs of different breeds, sizes, personalities, and temperaments to create a positive experience built around safety and comfort. Whether your dog is naturally calm or a little nervous about grooming, regular visits can help build confidence over time.
