Designed to give law enforcement officers the skills necessary to help identify and apprehend individuals involved in criminal activities by providing officers with the knowledge of what to look for on a traffic stop or other citizen encounters. This course, taught by an expert in the field, will help officers spot criminal activity in both passenger and commercial vehicles. It is lecture and practical-based learning, with 24 Law Enforcement Credit Hours. Taught in a lecture-based group discussion type setting, officers will be given plenty of opportunities to ask and answer their questions. Practical exercises will help prepare you for situations you might find yourself in as an officer on the streets. Criminal Apprehension for Street officers is a three-day course that will look at current concealment methods that simulate real-life encounters.

- Experience of current criminal interdiction officers will lead a class to teach students the most recent crime trends and how to combat them using techniques taught in this class.
Taught by current Interdiction Officers that are using the techniques taught in this class to apprehend criminals, discover concealed illicit contraband, and remove criminal enterprises from the streets of their jurisdiction.
